The material on automating the design of railway stations and junctions, including engineering and geodetic surveys, is systematically presented. The entire complex of design and survey works is considered through the prism of practically oriented technical and technological means to ensure automation of the development of plans for the reconstruction of existing and construction of new stations. The possibilities of active use of software resources for calculation and design are considered. Большое внимание уделяется отечественному и зарубежному опыту применения САПР для формирования цифровых масштабных планов железнодорожных станций.
